Play more golf.

Hurt less doing it.

12-week programs built specifically for your condition — by a Doctor of Physical Therapy student, Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, and golfer who understands why your back, hip, shoulder, or elbow keeps flaring up every round.

Most golfers just accept the pain.

The Reality

They manage it. Take ibuprofen before a round. Take weeks off. Come back and do the exact same things that hurt them in the first place.

The problem isn't the golf swing. The problem is that no one has built the right capacity around that swing — the mobility, the strength, the load tolerance that makes your body resilient enough to rotate through 18 holes without breaking down.

That's what these programs are built to fix.

Who Built These?

Not your typical personal trainer.

Hunter is a Doctor of Physical Therapy student at Ohio State, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and a certified personal trainer — with a genuine understanding of how the golf swing taxes your body and where pain actually comes from.

He connects the dots between how your body moves, where your pain comes from, and how targeted training can improve both your health and your performance on the course.

FAQs

What is Formed Fitness?

Formed Fitness is a golf-focused fitness and performance brand built to help golfers move better, feel stronger, reduce pain, and improve how their body supports their swing. We offer online automated programs, downloadable PDF plans, and coaching options for golfers who want a structured path toward better movement and long-term durability.

Who is Formed Fitness for?

Formed Fitness is designed for golfers who want to play with less discomfort, improve mobility, build strength, and feel more confident in their body on and off the course. Whether you are dealing with back pain, shoulder tightness, hip limitations, knee discomfort, or simply want to move better for golf, Formed Fitness gives you a clear plan to follow.

What types of programs do you offer?

We offer golf-focused programs for common problem areas including the low back, upper back, neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists and hands, hips, knees, ankles, and feet. These programs are designed to improve mobility, strength, control, and overall movement quality for golfers.

What is the difference between the automated programs and the PDF programs?

The PDF programs are downloadable guides that give you a structured plan to follow on your own. The automated programs are delivered in a more guided format, through an app, making it easier to follow workouts via exercise demonstration videos, track progress, and stay consistent.

How do I know which program is right for me?

Start with the area that limits you the most. For example, if your low back bothers you during or after golf, the low back program may be the best place to begin. If your shoulder limits your backswing or follow-through, the shoulder program may be a better fit. If you are unsure, coaching may be the best option for more personalized direction.

What coaching options are available?

Coaching includes a Titleist Performance Institute assessment followed by training sessions either in-person or on Zoom. We also just released a hands-off approach with personalized workouts but no sessions needed, we just meet once a month to go over your results. Coaching is a good option if you want more direction than a PDF or automated program can provide.

Who is coaching best for?

Coaching is best for golfers who want a more personalized approach, have multiple areas they want to improve, struggle to stay consistent, or are unsure which program is right for them. It is also helpful if you want accountability and guidance as you work toward better movement and performance.

Can Formed Fitness help with pain?

Formed Fitness programs are designed to help improve movement, strength, mobility, and control, which may help golfers manage common aches and discomfort. However, they are not a replacement for medical care. If your pain is severe, worsening, or associated with concerning symptoms, you should contact a healthcare professional.

What makes Formed Fitness different?

Formed Fitness is built specifically for golfers. Instead of giving you random workouts, the programs focus on the mobility, strength, stability, and control needed to move well for golf. The goal is to help you build a body that feels better, moves better, and supports your game for the long run.

How do I get started?

Choose the program that best matches your current goal or biggest limitation. If you want a simple, self-guided option, start with a PDF. If you want a more guided experience, choose an automated program. If you want personalized support, coaching may be the best place to begin.
